DO NOT BUY! I recently purchased a 2025 7×24 Equipment Hauler with mega ramps and have had several major warranty issues. Caliber has not communicated with the dealer I purchased the trailer from but the dealer has made the fixes despite the manufacturer’s failure to honor their warranty or communicate with the dealer or myself. I will elaborate further down. Each time I called the warranty phone line, it went straight to voicemail. I have used this trailer a whopping 4 times and 3 of those 4 times I’ve had significant issues. First, the manufacturer (Caliber) neglected to secure the wiring harnesses properly and all lights became non-functional before I even made it home 30 minutes from the dealer and the toolbox latch bent while driving down the interstate and the tool box was open while driving. When I got home thinking it was a fluke I bent the toolbox latch to get it to close but the second time I pulled towed the trailer, the same thing happened. When I took it in for repairs the manufacturer would not honor the warranty claim on the latch because I (the owner) had to bend the latch to keep the box shut after only driving it home. Second time using the trailer I found out the hard way that they didn’t install welded washers or bolts on the ramp guide rods so one of the very heavy duty ramps came off while driving down the road. This resulted I. Being pulled over by a Sheriff’s Deputy because I couldn’t see it behind the equipment I was hauling which was well under the size and weight limit of the trailer. Third time towing I drove 2 hours on a smooth interstate and the passenger side fender fell off due to weak welds and lack of support. I’ve owned and still own several trailers, none of which have had these types of issues. I will never purchase a Caliber trailer ever again. I’ve already purchased another brand and will consider just junking this one as to not leave someone else with these issues. They seem and look like a good value but they cut corners to keep their prices lower than the competition. This is all I can assume. It is not with the price that you’ll pay in the long run.
